Information Commons
The Information Commons provides over 1,200 computer terminals on campus. Any member of the University community can log in at any Information Commons computer using their UniID and password.
These computers are available in:
- open access locations (typically associated with Library buildings)
- computer labs (which may be booked for classes)
- a small number of training labs (which cannot be used outside of class times)
All the locations and computers are identified by the Information Commons logo.
The Information Commons offers:
- an extensive set of desktop applications
- access to the worldwide web
- wireless network coverage around popular gathering spots across campus
